FTPing with CuteFTP.
WinSCP is an FTP, SFTP and SCP
Client that many of our customers use, our company
does not support this software or have any direct
ties to the manufacture of this software. Per the
request of many of our Clients we have constructed
this guide to aid in how to connect WinSCP to your
domains FTP.
After you have downloaded and installed WinSCP you
should have an icon on your desktop that lets you
start WinSCP double click that icon and the first
screen you will be presented should look like the
image below. in our image here we have highlighted
the first change you will need to make to connect to
the FTP, in the Protocol Box under File protocol
change the drop down box from reading SFTP to FTP

After you have made this change
the window should change some, bellow is the changed
window with the next fields we need to fill in
highlighted.

At this point you need to enter
your Domain name into the field that says Host name
(highlighted in red) for example:
ftp.mydomain.com
then you will need to enter the User Name to log
into your FTP(highlighted in Blue). This is normally
your domain name without the extension on the end,
so if you domain name is
mydomain.com
then the normal ftp username would be
mydomain;
lastly you must enter the password, in the password
field(highlighted in Black) this password may have
been set by you or has been emailed to you when you
setup your account with us.
With these fields now inputed, Click the Save button
in the lower right corner next to the Close button.
you will then be prompted with a window named
Warning (see image below)

In the image above we have
highlighted in Red the OK button, click OK on this
window.

Now you will be presented by
another window (depicted in image above) click the
OK Button on this windows, again in our image we
have highlighted the OK Button in red.

You will be returned to the
login screen, it has now changed and you are on the
Stored Sessions window. on this window, Click the
Login Button (highlighted in Red in our image)
After this, WinSCP will login to the FTP account on
your server. on Windows XP systems you may get a
normal Windows Security Alert about the program
(depicted in below image) Click the UnBlock button
(highlighted in Red in image) to allow WinSCP to
connect to the server as it should.
